Volunteers will be:Boating along the river;Exploring the Taiga forest;Marking touristic path with special signs;Easy physical work like cleaning bushes and path from natural garbage (old trees and branches);Cutting grass grass;Cleaning riverside;Vounteers are expected to make a short video about importance of forest preservation and promotion of the natural park.
Accomodation & food:
As volunteers will follow a route along the river, they are going to stay in tents and wooden cabins (tourist camps have saunas with a possibility to wash and to wash clothes) Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be cooked in the specially organized field kitchen.

Komi region, starting point is Vuktyl where you can get by a plane or a train from Syktyvkar.

Hiking rug, sleeping bag, hiking warm clothes, waterproof shoes, raincoat, personal hygiene means medical insurance is necessary. (Special healthcare products i if needed)
The project aims at assisting in preservation of the World Heritage site by doing environmental physical work at the Botanical Garden that is a part of the Solovki heritage. Volunteers themselves will learn about history and uniqueness of the Solovetsky Islands Ensemble and help enrich biodiversity of the Islands' ecosystem. During the project volunteers will work at the Botanical Garden founded by the monks in 1822, namely: digging ditches, plant, weed and fertilize trees, herbs and flowers of cultural and historical significance (more on that will be provided in the information list). Additionally, international volunteers are welcome to organise raising awareness activities on the importance of heritage preservation among locals, tourists and visitors.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will live in tents in a well-equipped camping of the garden. Food will be provided; volunteers will cook by themselves as a group: every day we will have a cooking team, which will cook on the fire; products will be provided. Please, bring your sleeping bag!

The Solovetsky archipelago comprises of six islands in the western part of the White Sea less then 100 miles south of the Arctic Circle. They have been inhabited since the 5th century B.C. and important traces of human presence from as far back as the 5th millennium B.C. can be found there. Since 15th century Solovetsky Archipelago with its monastery was a religious citadel of the Russian North, there are several churches dating back to 16th-19th century.
The main task of volunteers will be garden care (weeding, planting), collecting herbs. Approximately 6 working hours per day (in the morning and after lunch), with a weekend. All tools will be provided, but volunteers are kindly asked to bring their working gloves.
Accomodation & food:
Accommodation in the dormitory rooms for 2-3 persons. There are hot and cold water in the showers, organic toilets. Three meals a day are provided, cooked by a chef. It is simple country food that the locals eat, so do not expect a huge variety.
Location & leisure:
Kamlak village, Altai Republic. You should take a flight from Moscow to Gorno-Altaisk or make a really long journey on train and bus :) All participants will be met by host in Gorno-Altaisk and transfer back there from Kamlak at the end of the program.Volunteers will get to know the local culture, traditions, flora, learn a lot new medical herbs and how to use them. Excursions around the Botanical Garden is available. In your free time you can go to the river, walk around the village and make some hiking trips around. At the weekend, a trip along the stunning Chui tract will be organized. It is an ancient trade route on the border with Mongolia, which bears the proud title of the most beautiful Russian road. It winds through the valleys of seven rivers, between a dozen mountain ranges, crosses the Alpine steppes and passes.
Requirements:
Volunteers should be ready for manual work with soil and plants. The ability to admire unique Altai nature is mandatory! ;)
The volunteers will - take care of plants (plant transplantation, weeding, cutting of bushes)- tidy the territory after cutting (grass and branches)- assist with cultural and educational work: conducting excursions (as well as excursions in English), assistance in holding events - help with the promotion of the events of the Botanical Garden on social media, preparation of photo and video materials, etc.;The important part of the work camp will consist of filming video diaries and telling stories about volunteers experience in the work camp. Volunteers also can prepare some educational activities about voluntary work for the volunteers of our Center UNIVOL (games, workshops, movie discussions, sharing your personal volunteering experience).
Accomodation & food:
The volunteers will be accommodated it the student dormitory Parus (2-3 people per room). Parus is located on the territory of Tomsk State University campus near the lake, which in the winter is the largest ice rink in the city. The infrastructure at the dorm is good, warm showers are included.Food: food will be served 3 times a day in the cafeteria. It is also possible to cook at the dorm s kitchen. You will be provided with necessary kitchen equipment. You are welcome to bring traditional recipes and goodies from home country.
Location & leisure:
There are a lot of opportunities for free time: museums, events, nightclubs, outdoor activities. Some guided museum visits will be provided. Tomsk is situated in a very heart of Siberia which also provides opportunities for traveling.

Volunteers will take the following duties: work with horses (to clean, to take to the pasture); help with the preparation of fodder; preparation of horse fences for the transfer of horses in the paddocks; repair of fences, preparation of poles; cleaning the remains of old manure; probably it will be necessary to dig the ditches for deepening ponds and complete other tasks on the territory (planting hedges, preparing the garden for next year). Work about 5-6 hours a day with weekends.
Accomodation & food:
Camping camp: 2-person and 3-person tent will be provided. You can bring your sleeping bag and mat, but they can be provided as well. There are organic toilets and summer showers (with solar and electric heating). In case of bad weather conditions there are all necessary facilities in the building. Volunteers will be provided with all basic products, cooking in the groups. There is a shop nearby that can be visited to buy sweet treats for you (and favourite horse) every few days :)
Location & leisure:
Ryazan region, Orekhovo village (300 km from Moscow). All participants will be met at the bus stop near Ryazan and taken to the campsite.Volunteers can learn to ride, learn the habits of horses, understand how horses actually live, to get to know more about rural life and different aspects of living in a Russian village. In the spare time, many activities are planned: horse- riding on scenic routes, visiting the nurseries of bison and cranes of the Oka reserve, visiting the Museum of rural life and the Museum of nature, swimming in the river, kayaking and many others!
Requirements:
Preliminary knowledge on horse-caring is not required, but interest in the subject will be a big asset!
