Volunteers will work on the improvement of the area of scientific research on forestry (cleaning branches, cutting down shabby trunks, planting seedlings, simple repair of laboratory facilities).Volunteers will also take part in the daily life of the camp (various cultural, sports and linguistic, gaming activities).

FoodThe products of local farms will be used for cooking: beef, lamb, pork, milk, butter, cheese, sour cream, yogurt, fish, seasonal vegetables and fruits, as well as vegetables grown at the workcamp. Meals are provided in the summer kitchen of the camp, outdoors, it is prepared by volunteers.AccommodationOn the island there is a two-story log house. Rooms of three types: male, female, mixed. Sleeping bags are not needed. Please bring your own towels. Due to the fact that there is no Wi-Fi, the Internet is not available. In the city you can purchase a SIM card from a Russian telephone operator with unlimited Internet.

In free time, various activities will be held: fishing, swimming in the Angara, sailing yachts, visiting night clubs, excursions to ethnographic museums and important objects of the city, taiga walks, picking up mushrooms and berries.On some of the days, a rock concert by local cover bands, artistes artists, a concert of children s musical ensembles and theater groups will be held on the island. If the volunteer is good at singing or dancing , or has any special talents, he/she is welcomed to take part in the concert.A free day is provided once a week when the volunteers can go to the city, see the sights or stay in the camp and relax in nature.

The working language is English, Russian will be very useful for communication with the locals. Accommodation in guest houses of the Forest School. There is a warm water, WC and banya (Russian sauna). Mobile and Internet connection is available via Yota, Megafone and MTC,The food is organized: It is prepared by cooks and the participants help in the kitchen in turns.The menu is vegetarian (possibly vegan).There are shops, polyclinic in the nearest village Alferovskaya (25km), The nearest train station iz in Kizema. There will be a nurse at the campsite.

Requirements:
Vaccination is not required for this camp, but we recommend applying for this project only if you don t have allergies to the wool, dust and pollen.
Volunteers will help local residents and employees of the Kenozero National Park to maintain and preserve cultural landscapes. The highlight of this project is haymaking. It is one of the most pleasant rural works, where work is combined with entertainment. Participants will learn how to mow, put haystacks and dry hay in a traditional way.

Volunteers will be staying in a camping and be sleeping in tents (sleeping bag are needed). Food will be cooked on a campfire. Instead of showers volunteers will have Russian banya (sauna). Mobile connection is available via Megafone and Yota operators. During the time of the camp there will be a person responsible for First aid. The campground itself is in a rural area. It is close to the village Zekhnova which is located about 15 km along the lake from the bigger village Vershinino, where you can find administrative office of the park, shops, medical office, post office, internet, cable telephone.

This year will be the first for international volunteers in Museum reserve 'Melikhovo'. Volunteers will make some renovation work on the territory. Also volunteers will make ecological work in Chekhov's garden - plant trees, gather branches, rake grass, harvest animal feed.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will stay in a local hotel with beds and common showers. Participants will cook for themselves. Locals are open to share Russian traditional recipes with the volunteers.

Participants will have opportunities to visit all objects in Chekhov Museum and its branches. Museum is ready to organise excursions and events for the volunteers. During summer the weather is warm, so it is also a possibility to swim and make picnics. In weekend it could be possible to visit an old Russian town Chekhov.

Attention: work is going to be quite intense and physically demanding.Volunteers are going to build wooden walking paths to protect the soil and develop tourist infrastructure (poling, woodwork, working with a shovel). The working day is 8 hours (starting at 6 am with a 1-hour lunch break). Volunteers will be carrying wood and working materials (2-5 km) themselves and walking for 20-25 km during the whole camp. There will be 2 days off when the volunteers can hike to the Manpupuner.
Accomodation & food:
The tents (1 per 3 persons) will be provided. If you want to stay individually, please bring your own tent. You will be able to shower in a special hiking type of sauna every two days. The food will be cooked on a bonfire. The group leader will have a sat phone for emergency situations.

the Pechoro-Ilychsky Reserve, north-west of the Ural mountains. ou will have to be in Perm at 4 am on the 21st of July. Then you will be taken by bus to Nyrob. From Nyrob you will be taken to the campsite by a helicopter. The transfer (bushelicopter) will be provided free of charge.
Requirements:
You have to be physically strong and healthy, as the work is going to be physically demanding and you will have to walk a lot, carrying things.
Volunteers work from 9 till 15.30 with a break for lunch. They do environmental work for preservation of a large historical garden of the reserve – collect branches, work in yards and greenhouses.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will stay in a hotel, 15 minutes walk from the museum. There are showers, bathrooms, beds and tables in each room. Three meals will be provided for the volunteers.

On the territory of the estate there are unique historical buildings surrounded by forests, gardens and picturesque landscapes. Walking in this place transports visitors into the world of Russian noble estate of the XIX century.Museum organizes a cultural program – excursion to the museum of Leo Tolstoy, a biking tour around the estate, tour to the exhibition of folk art, master-classes in ceramics and floral design, etc. There is a hall in the hotel where volunteers will meet up in the evenings to relax and have fun. There are more areas outside where they can also spend free time or visit cities around during free days.

Volunteers will work outside of the city in the University educational sports Center for students )Yagodnoei (100 km from St. Petersburg). Volunteers will be asked to implement the following tasks:- Landscape project in the Center (make flowerbeds, build a bonfire spot, etc.)- Cleaning campfires in touristic places; - Collecting and recycling garbage in the touristic area in the woods; - Pines planting; - Preparing an ecological festival, designing exhibition stands.Eco-festival will be organized for citizens of Saint-Petersburg and gather around 300 people. The festival includes lectures on eco-friendly lifestyle, recycling, sports training in nature (acrobalance and yoga), workshops on making natural cosmetics and jewelry with their own hands etc.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will stay in wooden houses in the rooms for 2-3 persons. Showers and toilets will in separated houses. Lunches and dinners will be provided by canteen (Russian traditional food). Your dietary needs will be taken into consideration if communicated in advance. and 1040;lcohol is not allowed. Some meals will be prepared by ourselves, using ingredients offered by Saint-Petersburg food-sharing community.
