The main tasks will be in the garden i cutting weeds and deleting useless bushes on the territory of the voluntary residence. In case of rainy weather there will be indoor tasks such as repairing furniture etc. There will be opportunities to implement creative ideas of volunteers who work with metal or wood or outdoor design. Generally, there is a lot of open air manual work planned.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will be accommodated in a village house, 3-4 participants per room, boys and girls will be settled in separate rooms. Water for shower will be heated from the sun. By demand, volunteers can have Russian type of sauna i called banya . Toilets are very simple (of the latrine type). Volunteers will cook for themselves on the electrical oven. Drinking water will be taken from a dwell. There will be 2 local camp leaders, who will support volunteers in the practical issues. On weekends volunteers will go sightseeing. It is important that you bring warm clothes and a warm sleeping bag.
Location & leisure:
Divnogorye is a small but very famous place thanks to its touristic attractions: natural preserve, ancient monastery including churches made inside chalk hills and a beautiful river. In the village a lot of artistic events take place, such as modern arts installation and performances, concerts and seminars. There is a famous site for archeologists and soil scientists, as well as for zoologists, ecologists and just simply nature lovers. Volunteers can join events running in the village at the camp term. Additionally, excursions and day trips will be organized to natural preserve and open air museum Divnogorye, to the neighbor towns and to the city Voronezh. Volunteers can go fishing and hiking During the camp period Russia widely celebrates 2 great national events: 1st of May is the Day of Labour, 9th of May is the Day of the End of the 2nd World War. The volunteers can experience those events together with Russian people.
Requirements:
Motivation letter. Volunteers with allergies have to be attentive - physical work, a lot of sun, a lot of plants and herbs. Please, bring a sleeping bag and a repellent
Helping the staff of the park in setting up wooden boards along the ecotrail, installation of wooden banners with information about the park.
Accomodation & food:
Guesthouse building. 3-4 people in a room. Showers and sauna. Camp cook will provide meals 3 times a day. Volunteers will help with the dishes.
Location & leisure:
The camp will be based 120 km from Smolensk on the territory of National park.There are different types of activities for free time, such as hiking, water canoeing, fishing, there is also a bike rental.
Requirements:
Please bring working clothes, mosquito repellents, swimming suit, warm clothes, and clothes for sunny days.
Participants will assist residents Kenozerye in the construction and improvement of the fairgrounds in the village Vershinino. With the assistance of architects and designers they will built indoor scene and shopping arcades, toilet, install trash cans, playground, install information boards. In addition volunteers will create an art object Flying Ship - fairground based on local fairy tales.

In typical Russian guest houses with traditional Russian brick oven in village Gory 2km from Vershinino village. Organised meals in the local cafe (volunteers don t need to cook). Different types of Russian banya (sauna). Only mobile Internet.
Location & leisure:
Volunteers will be based in the village Gory 3 hours by car of the park from Plesetsk train station. 14 hours by train from Moscow.Workshops on folk traditions and crafts (birch bark, clay, ceremonial dolls); swimming in lakes (3 lakes around the camp), different types of Russian banya(sauna). Different excursions on the territory of the park.
Requirements:
Volunteers should be ready to work with such tools as brush cutters, lopping shears, saw. Vaccination against encephalitis is recommended. Be equipped with a backpack, no roll-on bags.
