Volunteers will contribute to maintaining an open-air museum of ancient grains called GASlab realized two years ago by a group of local and international volunteers. Volunteers will do manual work like sanding, painting, assembling, digging, harvesting and planting seeds (if season allows), also, cleaning and tracing trails of hiking path nearby (Magna Via Francigena) and other related activities to exploit the surrounding space. Some tasks can be implemented in the Magazzino as well. Meeting with local ngo s and intercultural event will be organised.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will be hosted in two houses, and will sleep in beds. The volunteers, divided into groups and following shifts, will take care of the management and cleaning of the house and the Magazzino , preparing meals in a common kitchen. All meals will be prepared and consumed in a common space at the Magazzino . The place of the activities will be reached by the association s transport, but it is also possible to reach it by foot.Meals will be cooked by volunteers divided in shift.

Milena is a small village in the province of Caltanissetta. The village is located in a rural mountainous context at 423 m above sea level. Like most remote Sicilian villages, it is served by a limited number of public transport services, so the organisation of free time could be limited to visiting nearby places or organising excursions out of town.
Requirements:
Volunteers should like the idea of living in a small town and experiencing collective life. Interested in manual work and agriculture is required.Big cities are not easy to reach, so during their free time volunteers will have to organise excursions by public transport, adapting to the few possibilities available.

Important works are prevented as restoring paths and recovering old fences and small bridges, along with interesting activities and visits to the most beautiful places of the area which present culture and breath-taking sights: replacing, rebuilding, painting some damaged parts of a small bridge, the bird watching gazebo and of a small wood cabin, which are in the park; fixing the billboards along the paths and the fences around high ecological value green areas.
Legambiente local group:
Since 2014 the local Legambiente Association "Giugliano Arianova" has been working on the Domitian Coast to defend the environment. It has always strongly fought against the damages from littering and water pollution, powering respect and attention for the environment and wildlife. It is the first time it organizes a workcamp, so this event is an important challenge too. The main aim is to recover and protect the park and make its ancient history be known around.
LOCATION AND LEISURE:
Liternum is the old name of the area where the Camp is taking place and the nature Park to be recovered is next to an archaeological site called "Scipio’s tomb”. The park overlooks Patria lake which ows its name to the famous sentence attributed to the Roman warlord Publius Cornelius Scipio (also known as ‘the African’ having defeated the Carthaginian army): “Ingrata patria, ne ossa quiden mea habes” (Ungrateful homeland, you will not have my bones).
Volunteers in the period of the Camp are going to visit the most fascinating places of the Phlegrean Fields and of the near area as well.

WORK:
The wooden structures in the nature Park are precarious and in ruin and need to be maintained. Under the guide of expert craftsmen and co-workers the volunteers are going to repair and paint the wood textures, to fix the billboards in order to recover old paths and make the walking in the Park safe and pleasant.
STUDY PART:
Educational activities are included in different areas as botany, archaeology, geology, local history, nature excursions, readings, workshops.
ACCOMODATION AND FOOD:
Volunteers are going to be hosted in a school with Internet access, with self-managed kitchen. There will be an environmental Mediterranean diet with local products: pizza, vegetables, mozzarella ice-creams.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
A special requirement is inclination to group relationships and life. Ability: manual work and open-air activities attitude and true interest for all that concerns defence and safeguard of wildlife and environment.
Discovering nature and slow tourism. The project includes some local actions about: restore and adding cycle paths billboards; planning and building up a new path through the San Stino forest; cleaning of the trails among trees in the wood; promotion of local products through the involvement of associations and companies of this territory.

Legambiente "Pascutto-Geretto", as local group, was born almost twenty years ago at the urging of Geretto Franco, a native of Torre di Mosto, which also identifies the territory of the Eastern Veneto the need for a critical environmental and purposeful presence that vigilant about a territory in the process of rapid transformation. The club is named after the Romano Pascutto important dialect poet and writer born in S. Stino di Livenza. Later, after the death of the founder, the members decided to assign to the club the surname of Geretto.
LOCATION AND LEISURE:
The town of San Stino di Livenza, where the Green Station is located, is a rich area in terms of environmental values, historical and landscape, as well as being a central node in the system of mobility infrastructure such as highway, railway and waterway, features that make it a crucial junction for the tourist itineraries. The whole area surrounding S. Stino is full of traces left by the past, from ancient roman to medieval periods, where we can find interesting things to see especially in Portogruaro, Concordia Sagittaria and Pramaggiore.
WORK:
Volunteers will be required to carry out forest maintenance, for example: cutting herbaceous and shrubby plants, collecting garbages, to create informative billboards in the wood. One of the task is creating a signpost for bike lanes in the surrounding area. Furthemore they will be involved in events promotion related to the local cyclotourism.
STUDY PART:
Involving in authorities and local technicians interconnection on strategic planning cycle tourist infrastructure.
ACCOMODATION AND FOOD:
The Green Station is equipped with 2 rooms with bunk beds, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a laboratory for the bike repairing, a dining room and Internet access.

The volunteers will collaborate in the general requalification of the building and in the creation of a room dedicated to host artists. This will consist of easy manual work, like wall painting, woodwork and other easy tasks. Alongside with the manual work, volunteers will be encouraged to express their artistic side and share it in the Policaffè. Volunteers are going to work about 5 hrs/day for 5 days/week, and they will have two free days per week, in which they will have the opportunity to discover the surroundings and meet local people.
Accomodation & food:
the volunteers are going to stay in the same structure where they will work. The house is fully furnished with showers, beds and a fully furnished kitchen as well. They will be responsible for taking care of the structure that will host them. They are going to clean, and cook their food, but Italian dinners or lunches might be organized so that everybody will enjoy "il Vero Cibo Italiano" handmade.

Dolcè is a small village located in Valdadige, in between Trento and Verona. The countryside around here provides amazing views, but if someone loves water "Lago di Garda'' is just about 20 km away!
Requirements:
This project is supported by the European Solidarity Corps. Food and accommodation are covered by the European Union. Transportation costs will be refunded according to the distance band rules of the program. No fees are required. The workcamps are open for international volunteers (coming from EU ESC countries projects).

WORK :The days will be structured by providing a part of manual work to keep improving the library as space of aggregation (decoupage, painting, carpentry, transport of furniture and books,...), and a part of socio-cultural animation (creation of laboratories, workshops, walks, street and group games, etc...). The group management and cooking and cleaning will be part of the group work. Moments of discussion and reflection, and others to explore the territory. Part of the animation activities will be finalized to create a positive interaction with the local community.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD : Accommodation will be very basic! Volunteers will be accommodated in the Casperia school gym and shared space and bathrooms. Volunteers will have access to all facilities present in the school: showers, toilets and kitchen. The management of space cleaning and meal preparation will be handled by the volunteers themselves through cleaning/cooking shifts. The group will have access to a pantry on the basis of which to construct a weekly menu respecting allergies/intolerances and diets particulars.

LOCATION AND LEISURE: Casperia(RI) Lazio, Central Italy. Approximately 40 kilometers northeast of Rome, the area called Sabina, where Casperia is located, is part of the Apennine chain. The landscape is made of hills covered with olives, which rise towards steeper mountains, with extensive oak and beech and small medieval villages, castles and monasteries. It is a landscape that has remained substantially unchanged over time and little affected by modern building development. Casperia is located on the slopes of "Pizzuto" mountain at 397 meters a.s.l. Casperia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 50 kilometers (31 mi) northeast of Rome and about 20 kilometers (12 mi) southwest of Rieti. During their free time, volunteers could make some excursions, workshops and sports. NOTE: It is not possible to visit Rome - The free time activity will be organized by the leaders to allow participants to explore the village and the surroundings.

Volunteers will support the teachers and the parents of the pupils in the manual work needed before the start of the school year. Main work will be maintenance of garden and classroom, including painting, arrange the play area for kids, repair desks, etc.
Accomodation & food:
Accommodation in the school. Volunteers will sleep in inflated matresses in a classroom of the school, toilets are available while one or two solar showers will be installed for volunteers. A kitchen is available for volunteers where they can prepare meals, grocery is provided by the school.

The school is not far from the city centre. Volunteers can join social and cultural life of the city.
