The camp is organized by Cilento Youth Union, an organization which has already organized several workcamps in Cilento, and Vivi.Ci. The workcamp aims to promote a local tradition in a international environment, to connect local people with foreign traditions and to promote this part of the italian countryside. The main purposes of the camp are to learn, to socialize, to understand different cultures through the games and the rediscovery of food and wine tradition.
WORK:
volunteers are expected to deal with local culture by preparing traditional meals and traditional games with the help of organizers and taking part in some activities connected to wine production. Moio della Civitella, indeed, was known for production and export of wine until ‘50s. Moreover, the volunteers will help the organizers to carry out all the tasks related to the organization, promotion and execution of “Re Notte”, the local wine festival occurring during the days of the workcamp: the logistic set up, the pub&restaurant tending, the cleanup and other activities proposed by organizers. After the event, the volunteers will help taking down the structures and cleaning the area where the event took place. The workcamp will take place from 14th to 21th August, for 6 to 7 hours per day. 15th August will be a no working day: so, we will spend the day visiting the local archeological site and we will spend the rest of the day with leisure activities. All details of the scheduled activities will be provided in the upcoming future.
ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD:
the accommodation will be a house in the center of the village, where volunteers and coordinator will stay all together. Vegetarian menu will be available on request.
LEISURE:
15th August will be a no working day: so, we will spend the day visiting the local archeological site and we will spend the rest of the day with leisure activities. We will also have a photo contest, so the volunteers should take with them a camera or a smartphone, to take photo of the camp and, at the end, we will declare the winner! All details of the scheduled activities will be provided in the upcoming future.

Moio della Civitella is a small village in the Cilento National Park, situated in Campania, close to the Amalfi Coast and Naples. It is famous for its archeological site and for the international street artist festival.

REQUIREMENTS:
open minded, positive attitude, ready to interact with other people of different cultural background, willing to share own experiences, flexible to live in simple living conditions, flexible to eat local food. We suggest the volunteers to bring with them beach equipping, comfortable wearing and something to put on for the eventually colder evenings.
International volunteers will make up a bigger team of volunteers helping run and TAKE DOWN the festival at the end of the project. During the festival the volunteers will help maintaining site infrastructure e.g. cleaning the area and waste sorting (for later recycling), helping at food stands and restaurants to prepare, sell and serve the food, clean the kitchen and other spaces, arrange the area for the performances, etc. However the volunteers may be asked to do other jobs according to the festival needs. The international volunteers will work for around 7/8 hours per day/night. The work will be done in pairs or small groups in different shifts (to be arranged together with the campleader) in the morning, afternoon and mostly late in the evening. During the free time the volunteers will have the opportunity to join concerts, performances, DJ-sets, etc. in the festival area. Please note that flexibility and adaptability are required, and there might be some physically demanding work from time to time (under the sun or rain sometimes). Be ready to work in a big team of national volunteers and hopefully become wonderful members of this great family International volunteers will have 2 free days, to be arranged with the festival organizers.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will be hosted in a local social centre, called Magazzino 47 , a self-managed place for youth where social, cultural, and political activities are organized. For the whole duration of the festival the social centre is closed for visitors and reserved for the accommodation of the volunteers. There are several toilets and a shower. The accommodation is not well-connected with the festival area by public transport so different pick up shifts will be arranged with the organisers to go to work and to come back to the accommodation. Sleeping bags, goodwill and open-mindedness are required.

The festival takes place in Brescia, a city in Lombardy region in the north of Italy.

YAP project-related motivation form is required. Volunteers must be motivated to work hard to make the festival a success, be enthusiastic and open-minded.
Volunteers will restore two rooms of Villa Bona, a wonderful historical villa of the 18th century surrounded by a big park, situated in Carignano. The restoration work will involve: the decoration of the walls, doors and windows; removal of boxes; cleaning of the marble staircase and the wrought iron railings; restoration of the dark wooden paintings, cleaning the garden of Villa Bona. Moreover the volunteers will make some restoration activities at the Opera Pia Faccio Frichieri (an ancient building of Carignano that nowadays is an old-people s home) such as: garden cleaning, restoration of the nativity scene, cleaning and restoration of the pavement, wooden benches and doors of the church at Opera Pia. All these activities will be under the guidance of a professional conservator. The restoration of Villa Bona is being finalized to use the villa for public events by the committee and local organizations.

In a building with beds, communal bathrooms with showers and hot water and a kitchen. Bedrooms are provided with 2 to 5 beds per room. The volunteers are responsible for the cleaning and cooking. The organisation covers the cost of the meals and also the materials for the work. Volunteers must be equipped with a sleeping bag (or sheets), pillowcase and towels.

The town of Carignano (8700 inhabitants) is situated on the left bank of the river Po approximately 20 Km from Torino and within the Regional Parco Fluviale (park of the river). Its centre is of typical piemontese style, characterized by an ancient core with medieval archways and a baroque cathedral. The towns surroundings offer sites of architectural and naturalistic interest, it is also possible to reach Torino easily, as there are frequent coaches to the city. During the free time there are many exciting things to do such as visit the open market of Carignano and take part in some local events. On the weekends it will be possible for the group to organise a visit to Turin (there is a bus to and from Turin), visiting the Egyptian museum, the cinema museum, MAO museum of oriental art, the Holy Shroud etc.

PROJECT: Rise Hub is an association based in Comino Valley (Central Italy) that works to promote non-formal education, social inclusion, intercultural learning and local development. The aim of this workcamp is to renew and give value to an abandoned area in the old town of Posta Fibreno, a small village settled in the natural reserve of Posta Fibreno lake.
Work:
WORK: Volunteers will clean and renew the area, level the surface of a water tower on which they will, later, draw a piece of street art with the technique of stencil, create and apply the stencils on the walls.
WORKING DAYS AND HOURS:
Volunteers will work 5 hours a day, weekends are free.

Posta Fibreno is a village (1200 inhabitants) in Southern Lazio, between Rome and Naples, on the Appennini mountains. The town is home to the natural reserve of Posta Fibreno lake. In summer, it is visited by plenty of tourists and sports lovers.
PROJECT: Agape International Ecumenical Center is a place of encounters where you can live an intense experience of community in beautiful natural surroundings. Agape is located in one of the Waldensian Valleys, the only area in Italy where protestants constitute a significant presence in the population. Agape was built after the Second World War as a sign of hope and of reconciliation between people, thanks to the voluntary work of many young men and women. A resident group still lives in Agape throughout the year. The dimensions of community and voluntary service remain central. Since 60 years, Agape is a place of education and development, theological exploration, political engagement, of acceptance and validation of differences. Every year many people, with different religious, cultural and political background, come to Agape for share discussion, debate and challenged themselves. Work:
WORK: The work camp consist to support the different activities of AGAPE. For example, when a number of guests have meetings on issues of political, social, cultural and religious interest.
Volunteers will help in the following areas:
kitchen, meal service (tables and dishes), cleaning, maintenance, bar tending, babysitting. Agape is a place where you will mix intellectual and manual practice The place is beautiful but really isolated, though you will stay together with many international participants to the AGAPE meetings.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD: Usually the volunteers share the bedrooms with three or four other one . Toilets are in common. The meal are typical Italian Mediterranean and there's a vegetarian alternative for those who require it, as well as for any specific allergies. It is possible to use a washing machine.

Volunteers will be engaged in projects aimed at preserving and restoring the natural environment of one of the most important wetlands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, the San Rossore estate, part of the MSRM Regional Park. Get ready to ride the bike!
Legambiente local group:
Legambiente Pisa is an association that has been fighting since 1995 for a healthier relationship between people and the environment, to convey the importance of conscious choices, for social equity through the lens of scientific environmentalism. The activities are possible thanks to the commitment of the volunteers who organize together local and national awareness campaigns, training activities inside and outside the schools, collaborations with public and private bodies aimed at the ecological transition.
LOCATION AND LEISURE:
The San Rossore estate, in the MSRM regional park, after having been used as a hunting lodge for monarchs and presidents, has since 1989 been the central nucleus of a large coastal park that is a real gem in terms of both fauna and plant species, including several relicts and endemic species, which have found an environment here in which to survive and develop. The estate is within cycling distance of the cities of Pisa, and Lucca, two centres that need no description; from the camp it is also easy to reach other centres of interest, such as Livorno, Calci, Massaciuccoli and the Apuan Alps.
WORK:
The volunteers will use simple tools such as shears, axes and saws to remove invasive vegetation, record data to compare the present situation and check the effectiveness of the action. At the request of the Park, interventions will be possible for easy maintenance operations in areas of naturalistic interest further inland. Restoration of the paths in the naturalistic areas of the estate and biomonitoring activities within the park will also be carried out. All movements will be made by bicycles, which the volunteers will also maintain, with the help of the local bicycle workshop.
STUDY PART:
Training activity on the park with the forest manager Francesca Logli, training on Caretta Caretta with the volunteer Yuri Galletti. The training will involve the use of a drone for monitoring. Bike maintenance workshop with the FIAB association, naturalistic training with the partner Andrea Somma in the LIPU reserve of Massaciuccoli.
ACCOMODATION AND FOOD:
Flat in a farmhouse on the San Rossore Estate. We will prepare all meals in the apartment. The shopping will be done in local zero kilometre and organic shops.
