Throughout the years, the pond has suffered from erosion. Your mission will be to renovate it. The project will include cleaning the old washhouse, sealing the brick rim, jointing of bricks, brushing and painting of 2 benches and of the fence around the area.
Accomodation & food:
You will stay in a tent in the football stadium of the municipality. You will have access to showers and to a locker room. The living space, where you will find the kitchen and do the group activities, is 100 meter away from the stadium. You will share the different daily tasks and prepare meals together.
Location & leisure:
Roye is a city of 5 800 inhabitants, located between Amiens and Noyon, and crossed by the Avre river. The municipality will give you access to the swimming pool, which is quite close to the living space. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to do archery with the city club as well as various activities offered during the summer season.
Requirements:
Bring working clothes and closed shoes and/or boots for working in the water. Since you will be sleeping in tents, do not forget to bring your sleeping bag and a floor mat. Feel free to bring specialities, pictures, musical instruments: whatever you like and would want to share on the work camp, with the local population or with the other volunteers!

This workcamp, intended for teenagers, will have as an objective the cleaning of the river banks. On this project the volunteers will remove bulky items, clear the access to the river and that way help to prevent possible future fires and floods.
Accomodation & food:
You will be accommodated in tents near a municipal building with access to toilets and showers. You will share the various collective tasks; the budget will be allocated to the camp leaders and you will participate in the purchase of food and the preparation of meals by privileging healthy and local products.
Location & leisure:
Ceyras is in the department of Herault, 40km away from Montpellier, and only 50km away from the Mediterranean Sea. You will be able to enjoy the beauty of this area, offering both historical heritage (Guilhem Castle, Collegiate Saint-Paul ...), as well as natural heritage (Lake Salagou, Cirque de Mourèze ...). You can choose between many activities during your free time such as hiking, swimming in the Gorges de l'Herault, water activities and more!

After several clearing workcamps on the castle, we will continue this year to reveal the ruins, but we will also work around the abbey of St Amand to enhance the surroundings and on the paths that connect the two villages. Festivals, night markets, village festivals will be held throughout the summer and the group of volunteers will work with local volunteers to set them up. Physical work of disbursement (shovels, pickaxes, wheelbarrow) and careful excavation (trowels, brushes...) and consolidation work; trail maintenance and itinerary creation, clearing and pruning. You will have the opportunity to discover many aspects of manual work.
Accomodation & food:
You will be hosted at the municipal stadium. Sleeping in tents, mattresses provided. A covered dining area is reserved for you, with a kitchen where in turns you can prepare good dishes.

Location: Coly - St Amand is located in Périgord Noir, 10 km from the Lascaux caves, between Périgueux and Brive.
Leisure activities:
You will discover the hospitality of the population and the charm of the landscapes and local heritage, by organizing with the other volunteers and leaders your program of activities: swimming, canoeing, site visits, local festivals...
Participate to the protection and enhancement of this breathtaking heritage! Within the castle, you will realize various works of restoration of walls (ramparts, towers) using traditional techniques, of maintaining the vegetation (clearing bushes, etc.) and many varied tasks. You will also participate to the touristic life of the site, helping the guided visits and organising activities and events!
Accomodation & food:
Accommodation is under tents (2 persons per tent) at the town stadium. Volunteers will manage the tasks of daily life in teams (shopping, cooking, and cleaning). Kitchen, toilets and showers are in a recent building on the camping site.
Location & leisure:
Montaigu le Blin is located in the Bourbonnais area, 30km North from Vichy and 90km North from Clermont-Ferrand, in Auvergne region. It is a countryside rich with historical heritage, which you will be able to discover by visiting a few of the numerous castles and medieval cities, or by hiking, or going by bike or canoe, according to what the leading team can propose you. Your camp leaders will prepare games and activities but you will be invited to propose and create your own activities. Be creative!
Requirements:
Pay attention that there is no wifi access on the Workcamp site, the telephone network is also quite low. However, the volunteers will be able to find a public wifi in the village. Who needs an internet during a Workcamp anyway ? The site is unfortunately not accessible to people in wheelchairs.
EXTRA FEES:
reduced to 250€ for international volunteers. Pay attention! Our national participants in France pay the regular 360€ of extra fees.
During the workcamp, international, French, and local volunteers will take part in different works to improve the place and to build eco-friendly installations: storage for recycled materials, furniture out of recycled materials like wood palettes, systems to collect rainwater, and dry toilets. For this work, you will be trained in woodworking and construction. You will also help tend to the garden.
Accomodation & food:
You will sleep in collective tents on the campsite of the association. Please bring along a sleeping bag with you. The campsite has bathrooms and showers, as well as a kitchen place. Food will be provided and cooked by the volunteers in turns.

Location: La Ferté Alais is approximately 50 km south of Paris, in the region of Essonne.
Leisure activities:
You will have the chance to enjoy the association's campsite and discover the cultural and natural heritage of the region, alongside its natural park. You will also be given the opportunity to mingle with local young people. Other leisure activities will be organised collectively depending on the wishes of the group and the available budget.
