During the workcamp, international, French, and local volunteers will take part in different works. On the pedagogical farm, you will learn how to renovate some old farm machinery. You will also build some eco-friendly installations in the hosting centre of the association: systems to collect rainwater and dry toilets, for example. You will practice wooding and construction.
Accomodation & food:
You will sleep in collective tents on the campsite of the association. Please bring along a sleeping bag with you. The campsite has bathrooms and showers, as well as a kitchen place. Food will be provided and cooked by the volunteers in turns.

Leisure activities:
You will have the chance to enjoy the association's campsite and discover the cultural and natural heritage of the region, alongside its natural park. You will also be given the opportunity to mingle with local young people. Other leisure activities will be organised collectively depending on the wishes of the group and the available budget.
You will participate on a large-scale project. Located in the heights of the hamlet, five cottages have been abandoned and are awaiting new inhabitants. Since 2018, work has been put into place on these cottages to re-create sustainable housing. Your mission is to restore the interior of these cottages. With the help of a technical supervisor, you will discover several different types of work: sanding, evacuation and recycling of rubble, interior decoration, and more.
Accomodation & food:
You will stay in tents in 2 or 3 places on the site of "l'Aurore" which is found 300 meters from the center of the hamlet. A cottage for cooking, a sanitary block with water and toilets, as well as a beautiful outdoor space for eating meals together around a campfire. Together, you will cook and prepare menus together using local products and participate in the organization of the camp: cooking, washing dishes, amenities, cleaning, campfires, and more.

Leisure activities:
You will be able participate in the very active village life during the summer with pizza nights, barbecues, dances, themed parties, international meals, sport activities, hiking, swimming etc. Enjoy locals events including festivals, the Provençal markets, and visiting the Buech region. Together with the lively staff, you will work together in the community life (cooking, washing dishes, organizing the camp, etc.)
After several clearing workcamps on the castle, we will continue this year to reveal the ruins, but we will also work around the abbey of St Amand to enhance the surroundings and on the paths that connect the two villages. Festivals, night markets, village festivals will be held throughout the summer and the group of volunteers will work with local volunteers to set them up. Physical work of disbursement (shovels, pickaxes, wheelbarrow) and careful excavation (trowels, brushes...) and consolidation work; trail maintenance and itinerary creation, clearing and pruning. You will have the opportunity to discover many aspects of manual work.

You will be hosted at the municipal stadium. Sleeping in tents, mattresses provided. A covered dining area is reserved for you, with a kitchen where in turns you can prepare good dishes.

Location: Coly - St Amand is located in Périgord Noir, 10 km from the Lascaux caves, between Périgueux and Brive.
Leisure activities:
You will discover the hospitality of the population and the charm of the landscapes and local heritage, by organizing with the other volunteers and leaders your program of activities: swimming, canoeing, site visits, local festivals...
The two main tasks are building and artistic construction. We also plan to start working around a new building called "the Maurel farm" by clearing it up before starting renovation work. All the work will be supervised by members of the Citrus association.

In tents at the Citrus site in Mayounelle, with access to a sanitary block and a kitchen under a tent.
Location & leisure:
Location : Laguépie, located 100 km northeast of Tolouse, between Albi and Villefranche-de-Rouergue.
Leasure activities : A passionate local host will teach you how to cook seasonal dishes using the vegetables grown in the garden. Food workshops will also be organized so that you can learn the basics of a healthy diet. During your free time, you will have the opportunity to go swimming and hiking, and to meet with the other volunteers from the workcamp and from Laguépie. You will also be able to organize evening pizza dinners and game nights, and to visit the medieval villages of Najac, Cordes sur Ciel, and Saint-Antonin Noble Val.
Participate to the protection and enhancement of this breathtaking heritage! Within the castle, you will realize various works of restoration of walls (ramparts, towers) using traditional techniques, of maintaining the vegetation (clearing bushes, etc.) and many varied tasks. You will also participate to the touristic life of the site, helping the guided visits and organising activities and events!

Accommodation is under tents (2 persons per tent) at the town stadium. Volunteers will manage the tasks of daily life in teams (shopping, cooking, and cleaning). Kitchen, toilets and showers are in a recent building on the camping site.
Location & leisure:
Montaigu le Blin is located in the Bourbonnais area, 30km North from Vichy and 90km North from Clermont-Ferrand, in Auvergne region. It is a countryside rich with historical heritage, which you will be able to discover by visiting a few of the numerous castles and medieval cities, or by hiking, or going by bike or canoe, according to what the leading team can propose you. Your camp leaders will prepare games and activities but you will be invited to propose and create your own activities. Be creative!
Requirements:
Pay attention that there is no wifi access on the Workcamp site, the telephone network is also quite low. However, the volunteers will be able to find a public wifi in the village. Who needs an internet during a Workcamp anyway ? The site is unfortunately not accessible to people in wheelchairs.
EXTRA FEES:
reduced to 250€ for international volunteers. Pay attention! Our national participants in France pay the regular 360€ of extra fees.
The work is diverse: it will involve landscaping and masonry…You will also continue with the development of the "prisoner's garden" and the walking paths around the castle's ruins.

You will sleep in tents and will be able to use a building nearby for daily life (kitchen, showers…). Bring your sleeping bags. You will share the different collective tasks and prepare meals together.

Ham is located in the heart of the Region, 20 kilometers from St Quentin and Noyon.
No way to get bored in this camp: 5 days a week, you will work in turns on the presbytery renovation and on the garden arrangement. You'll learn how to renovate the presbytery with high quality and natural materials. You'll learn more about other alternative approaches to gardening in harmony with the nature. You'll participate in workshops about how to protect our planet and will have the opportunity to meet local producers and discover their production methods.
Accomodation & food:
You will stay in tents near the Presbytery with access to changing rooms, toilets, showers, kitchen and a big common room. You will prepare the meals in shifts and split the various chores (planning, cleaning, shopping, etc.). We will encourage the purchase of local and seasonal products.

Bassoues is a small charming town in the heart of the Gascogne countryside. The village is surrounded by ramparts and brings ancient myths into reality. You'll be awestruck by the 43-meter high, splendidly-preserved donjon at the village entrance, which dates from 1371. The entire community of Bassoues has been listed as a Historical Monument: a perfect place for nature lovers and for those eager to discover more about French culture.Bassoues is near several aquatic activities center, very enjoyable when the sun shines.The city of Auch is a 40 minutes drive away from Bassoues. It's famous for its gastronomy, its cathedral and its renowned D'Artagnan statue. By visiting the night market you'll be able to discover the gastronomy of this countryside. Welcome to Le Gers!
Requirements:
Bring working clothes and shoes (waterproof if possible, in case of rain). Bring a warm sleeping bag and a good camping mat (for sleeping in the tent); nights can be chilly and wet. Tents will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Do not hesitate to bring activities from home, such as photos, games, musical instruments, food etc. And don't forget your swimming suit; you may need it!Foreigners from the European Union must bring their personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and all participants must bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise during the program, volunteers will need to cover all costs; they will be reimbursed upon their return to their home country.
