For two years now, the association has been developing a permaculture garden. This workcamp will give you the opportunity to discover and learn about the priciples of permaculture, which are currently being used in the pedagogic garden by placing a sort of sandbox that will nurture the aromatic and aesthetic plants, and the effortless work : snail culture ! Extensively used in permaculture, the work will allow you to create, in a restricted place, the ideal conditions needed to help a plant develop, including the optimal level of sun exposure and humidity. In a spiral form, the box will be made out of acacia pickets, each placed one against the other in the form of a stair. This work will last a long time thanks to the use of rot-proof wood. Once built, the box will be filled with soil and humus.
Accomodation & food:
In tents with access to outdoor sanitary blocks and dry toilets. An equipped kitchen will be located in the main building. Food will be provided. Meals will be prepared by the volunteers in turns.
Location & leisure:
Montcombroux-les-Mines, 45 km from Vichy.This workcamp will allow you to meet teens coming from different parts of the world, as well as French teens. You will also discover the rural lifestyle, organize city outings (Vichy, Moulins), and enjoy the nautical base of Pierrefite and the swimming pool sitauted a few kilometers away.
