The main goals of the Project are to meet one another, to create a constructive dynamic, as well to break stereotypes, and stigmas by working together and living collectively. Incline to "Education Popu- laire" which believes that everyone can teach and learn each other without formal educational ways. All the project in Vaunières is corresponding to below goals.Part of the job in Vaunières is to host. We have 65 places for hosting groups (adults, disabled peoples, teenagers, children) anywhere from a day to a month. We host various type of group!Usually social group are coming to live an experience with us. They work and share the collective life with us. The team of long-term volunteers is here to welcome them, explained them the project, propose to them some activities or just sharing time together. Groups are really interested by the internationality of our project and they are coming to meet volunteers also!It could happen we rent the village for one week end for a giant roleplay, a wedding, etc.Every morning, We have workshop like construction, gardening, cooking, cutting and splitting firewood and taking care of the chickens. It varies slightly day by day, but in the afternoon we continue to work. On Wednesday and Thursday we have meetings with permanent staff to talk about future workshops and collec-tive life.Long term volunteers can choose to have a personal project de- pending on what you want to learn, what you are interested in or what you can contribute. The village is open to improvements of all types. Anything is possible. We hope that your personal project advances the values of Vaunières. We welcome new ideas.We host international workcamp from spring to the end of summer. These camps normally consist of 6-8 international volunteers and 6-8 French people. It could be camp for adult or for teenager. During 2 or 3 weeks, they work together in one specifically project (isolating wall, building wood house, etc.), share collectivelife and live under tents. They have to build their own organization with their workcamp leader and with the technical leader.The long term volunteers of Vaunières are usually the workcamp leader of these international workcamp. It's one of their missions.
Accomodation & food:
We manage all aspects of the menu in house, cooking is one of daily workshops. Hence, everyone is involved at least a little bit in cooking and creating the menu. We organize "café menu"time that each resident can propose menu items for the upcoming week. You are encouraged to cook meals from your country or region!We try to consume as many local vegetables and fruits as possible. According to the reflection of ideal life of the association, we try to eat better: less meat, local and seasonal ingredients (meat, vegetables, fruits) and we try to buy as much we can organic food.Also we like to do homemade jam with what we picked in Vaunières (raspberry, plum, etc).And of course, we eat what is coming from our garden: salad, cabbage, tomato, etc

Thanks to its roots in rural areas, Citrus carries out gardening projects, cooking with a local producers network, building renovation, European cultural encounters, promotion of voluntary work, activities with various local associations, workcamps and workshops
The missions of the volunteers are very varied :
• participe each week in existing activities such as chantier (workcamp), various organisationnal meetons, local animations.• actively participe to daily life of the volunteers and managment of the house :group life, animations, cooking, making menus and shopping, household tasks, organizing themselves together...• support the association in its reception of groups or individuals. When youngpeople with fewer opportunities are accommodated in the house, or when Citrus hosts a seminar or a training course.• animate one or more international workcamps for minors or young adults during the summer.• the volunteers are the ambassadors of the structure, sometimes they willpromote international volunteering at local or national events.
Accomodation & food:
You will live with about six to ten other volunteers in a house located in the heart of the village with three living rooms, an office with a computer, a landline telephone1, internet and wifi, a kitchen and bathroom, and a large garden.In the house there are three bedrooms, one with about 8 beds, one with 5 beds and one with 3 beds.You will share your room and your house with the other volunteers. One of the objectives of the volunteering is to live together, to share this space with respect for each and everyone. The rules of life of the house are those of the association and of the French legal framework, not debatable 2; and those that you will choose among yourselves 3, according to the needs of each one and in mutual respect.To be involved in the daily life of the group is important, as in a large shared apartment where everyone is responsible for the smooth running of the collective life.
Location & leisure:
Laguépie is a small village of about 850 inhabitants in the Quercy-Rouergue countryside. It is full of associations, all the shops necessary for everyday life, two markets per week, a fair per month, two bars, two restaurants, and even a beach in summer! We are lucky to have a train station in the heart of the village, so it's easy at weekends to take the train to visit the region and itssurroundings.The nature is very rich, varied and perfect for lovers of walking and nature sports. Here the summer is very hot and it's a pleasure to go down to the river after your day!In Citrus there is a lot to enjoy ! Between the garden, the local animations, the permanent workcamp from autumn to spring and during the summer season with international workcamps in the surrounding communes and sometimes more than 60 people hosted at La Mayounelle !

d) Work activities:On the centre, the old farming activity has been replaced by many other activities: Environment and renovation work: painting, plumbing, electricity, construction work, landscaping, wood work, gardening... Cultural activities: concerts and music festivals organised in cooperation with local associations, intercultural meals, thematic days. Hosting work: cooking, preparing bedrooms, taking care of facilities, welcoming and helping groups and peoplee) Collective lifeCollective life is a key issue in the project. It is a support for meetings andexchanges between everyone. For this reason, everybody is supposed to act responsibly and to take part actively in everyday tasks (permanent staff, salaried people, volunteers, holiday makers, groups). Meals, household, washing up and all the efforts to keep the area clean and tidy are carried out in turns and by small groups. The meals are taken all together between all the residents of the centre.
Accomodation & food:
The European volunteers are accommodated in the Farm House. The volunteers are accommodated in rooms of 2 to 4 people and have their own bathroom. Showers and toilets are situated in buildings. In the house, the living room and kitchen are shared with salaried people and sometimes groups.One of the toilets in Faï is a dry toilet. This dry toilet is part of the project of the association to manage the use of water. Indeed, the Faï farm is located in the South of France which is quite dry, especially during summer, and one aim of the association is to be environmentally friendly.

a) Geographical environment:The Faï farm is situated 3, 5 km from the village of Le Saix, the closest village, and 17 km from the city of Veynes, in the north of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.Located at an altitude of 1000 metres in a valley, the place benefits from a well preserved environment composed of forests and mountain rivers. The mountains around offer many possibilities for beautiful hikes. Quite close to the Faï farm (25 minutes by walking) and up in the mountains, the ruins the old Abbaye of Clausonne can be visited.Le Saix, the closest village to Faï, has a population of about 80 inhabitants. It is set in a very rural area where people live mostly on agricultural and pastoral activities and are eager to develop tourism.

Gap (40 km), Grenoble (100 km), Sisteron (60 km), Marseille (200 km).b) Description of Faï reception centreThe centre comprises 4 main buildings which allow it to accommodate up to 60 people during the summer. Farm house: 8 beds in rooms of 2 to 4 people, independent kitchen and dining room, lavatory on the ground floor, showers and toilets are out of thebuilding. Aubergine house: 20 beds with one dormitory of 8 beds and 3 rooms for 3 or6 people, collective kitchen and dining room on the ground floor shared by international volunteers, the permanent staff and the guests, showers and toilets on the first floor. The Cochonniers: 13 beds in rooms of 4 or 5 people, showers and toilets are outside of the building. The Bergerie: 2 flats with 4 beds and one flat with 8 beds, independent living room, showers and toilets in each flat.On the place, you will also find rooms for activities and parties, an open air theatre, a traditional oven to bake bread and pizzas, a wood and masonry workshop and gigantic trumps!
