The project will consist of making birdhouses for the winter. Accompanied by competent leaders, you will carry out a solidarity project very helpful for the local fauna. While working in a cross-cultural and heterogeneous team, dangerous prejudices and stereotypes that would drive people away instead of bringing them together, are removed. So, come work with them for a bit of change and peace building.

Under tents in the association's garden. Girls and boys will be separated. You will sleep on bunk beds. Showers and toilets are in the centre. You will enjoy every aspect of the collective life. Bring a sleeping bag and take into account that it can get cold at night time in Franche Comté. Food is taken care of, but you will have the opportunity to take turns when preparing the food in groups, in the centre's professional kitchen.

Beaumotte les Montbozon is located 25 km from Vesoul and 30 km from Besançon.Leisure activities :The afternoons will be devoted to leisure activities. You will be able organize them with the help of the leaders. You are welcomed to propose different activities you would like to do. You will get to meet the people staying at the welcome centre during the collective moments (meals / cooking / cleaning). A visit to the city of Besançon, olympics or walks around the area will be on the program.
As a volunteer in this camp, first you will build the wood shelter with the support of a technical leader. Then, you will discover how to build outside furniture using recycled material, like wood palettes. Once you have learned these techniques, along with local people, you will build furniture for the pedagogical farm. Through these different works, you will practice different woodwork techniques.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet the local population and to explore the surroundings of the town. La Ferté Alais is located in a regional natural park called Gâtinais. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the events taking place in the local community such as concerts or canoeing. Volunteers will be able to organize their own collective activities depending on their wishes and the available budget.

With the advice of a professional technician, you will participate in the development of the holiday centre and rehabilitation of outdoor living spaces, especially in front of the dining room: with the construction of a terrace (construction of a slab), landscaping, painting work on joinery. You will work in the mornings.

You will be welcomed at the AROEVEN Holiday Center. The rooms will be shared by 4-6 people. A beautiful dining room is available, with a kitchen where the staff prepares great Périgord dishes, using local products. Under the guidance of the service staff, you will also be able to cook traditional dishes from your country or region.

Along with a technical leader, you will build and set up a wooden fence, which will separate the public space from the House of Vineyards. The house is at the doorstep of the hills, where hiking trails starts. You will learn how to mark out an area using small stakes, check the foundation of the ground, make small earthworks and dig holes for the columns. Afterwards, you will set up the columns and clamped these thoroughly. Moreover, you may be involved in the construction of picnic tables and benches.

You will be accommodated in a municipal guest-house, which will be reserved especially for you. There will be rooms with 4 places (girls and boys will be separated) and an area for community life, including kitchen and lounge corner. A yard will be at your disposal, so you may have meals outdoors. The group will be sharing the cleaning chores and preparing meals together. The budget will be allocated to the group leader and you will participate in the preparation of dishes using good products from the market and local producers.

The town of Ebreuil is located in Auvergne, 50 km away from Clermont-Ferrerand and 27 km from Vichy. It is a small town, which is perfectly situated in the valley of Sioule, on the shore of a natural and wild-flowing river, where you might see beavers and have a canoe ride! During your stay, you will enjoy the town's summer energy and the countryside nearby (hiking, swimming in the lakes, etc.). You will meet volunteers from another international workcamp, situated in Gannat (10 km). They will most likely be willing to organize activities with you!
Requirements:
Please bring sporty/hiking shoes, working clothes and a swimsuit. As the nights can be quite cold, remember also to bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag. You can also bring recipes from your home country, musical instruments and games. You will be engaged in the restoration work of the Fa's Tower. This square tower overlooks the village since the middle ages, and is quite famous in the area as it is the main tourist attraction of the village. The work will not be directly on the tower, but will concern the surrounding area. The goal is to clean and reorganize the surrounding area (cutting trees to make more space, put flowers, install a picnic table) so it becomes a welcoming space for the hikers and the tourists coming through.

You will put up your tents in the heart of the village (with access to bathrooms and a kitchen in a nearby building) and will have the opportunity to exchange with all the inhabitants who will welcome you and share their daily life in this remote area.

Fa is a village located near the Pyrénées Mountains in the south of France. This village is inhabited by a couple hundreds of people who live in a spirit of community.
Leisure activities:
Don't be fooled, remote doesn't mean quiet and cold. You will enjoy the rich culture of the area, a live-concert in the local café, the summer festival in a village of the area, and plenty of discovering of the natural surroundings of the area. Even the mayor will give you a tour and share with you the history of the surroundings.
