The project involves general preparation work for the town's annual folklore festival, taking place 27th July-2nd August. Work entails clearing spaces, mowing grass and setting up for the festival as well as taking an active role in promoting volunteers' own culture in the festival itself by organising games and stalls and perhaps preparing short performances of music, etc.

The project involves the renovation of a former Soviet rubber factory into a building housing workshops for artists and musicians, as well as cultural eventsa and youth activities. Volunteers will help renovate this space into studios and concert halls as well as meeting artists and helping preparation for the annual arts festival.
