The theme will be The sustainable outdoor living area and urban gardening . We have 500 square meter big yard in between the school buildings. We would like to transform this area from a rather dull area, into a place where you can find inspiration and fun. We will put bricks in the yard in different patterns and colors. Divide the total area into smaller areas with different purposes. We will work with art for decorations on walls, floors and etc. We will construct boxes for outdoor removable gardening. We will think, smells from herbs, colors from flowers and hopefully create a 500 square meter area, where it is nice to be, and where tou can sustain yourselves as a person. Our garden is consisting of some very spectacular old trees and together with the imposing structure of the straw bale house and the music house, the Lotus House and the Tree House, we would like to link the buildings together and to other parts of the garden and build pass ways between them. During camp we will take time to debate sustainability - not only as an environmental issue but on all levels - including sustainability among people and cultures.

« I would recommend participating in a workcamp, especially with VAP, who ensured that I found a project to suit me and provided essential training for me in preparation for my trip. Being part of a workcamp really is a life-changing experience, oh, and it looks great on your CV! »
