Taishi workcamp, the very first international workcamp was initiated in 2007 in Taiwan together with NICE Japan. The wrokcamp is so successful that local residents advise VYA to turn it into a regular activity. VYA, NICE and Taishi Artist Association will go hand in hand to continue the workcamps this year. We will repair the community house as the service center for community. In the meanwhile, we will help to reconstruct/repair the Community common space via coloring the wall, cleaning up, cutting the grass around the building space to improve the overall living conditions. And The subject of the painting is “domestic folk and legend stories for the Children.” So please bring some materials to help you draw your own country’s stories for the children. Participants will also have opportunities to experience traditional local market, night market, and eco-tourism in free schedule, chat with local people and enjoy the passions from them.

« I would recommend participating in a workcamp, especially with VAP, who ensured that I found a project to suit me and provided essential training for me in preparation for my trip. Being part of a workcamp really is a life-changing experience, oh, and it looks great on your CV! »
