The main tasks will be supporting coordinators run 2-summer camps under the theme of Peace and Life. During two camps being in nature and think about importance of U(Peace and LifeU with verity activities. Such as organizing peace concert and making small monument in Peace memorial park.

Camping at Dolharubang (Icon of Jeju) park. Picnic at beach.
This workcamp is organized together with Sanmaeul High School since 2010. The host organization is an alternative high school focused on eco-farming education, energy independency, foreign language and peace community building. They also have unique education system and so are flexible and open to new ideas and people. The school is trying to bring intercultural learning to the students so that students will get to experience diverse cultures.
WORK:
Volunteers will mainly work in small farm around school, experience agriculture and value of labor. And organize intercultural learning program by participants, teaching language, culture and share food from each countries. During the camp participants will have chance to experience Korean culture, joining group tour together.
ACCOMODATION AND FOOD:
The school dormitory / Cooking by volunteers.
LOCATION & LEISURE ACTIVITY:
Ganghwa Island. Gyeonggi / Ganghwa bus terminal. (1hour from Seoul by bus) Soccer (Main culture in school). Picnic at beach.
REQUIREMENTS:
Motivated to play with children, Interest in agriculture.
In the first week, volunteers will mainly participate in Life and Peace Camp and organize activities for children. While at the camp, a peace march will be held to the DMZ. In the second week, volunteers will help local people with farming. Volunteers will experience various interesting cultures of the rural area in Korea.

The local community center1st week meals- provided, 2nd week meals- cooking by volunteers.

Peace march to DMZ. Visit historical and cultural place.Tomato Festival.Boat Competition.
Requirements:
Interest in peace and agriculture. Bring some information.
In the first week, volunteers will do manual work for community such as reconstruction eco-playground, farming, and conservation around village. In the second week, they will join (Youth Summner Camp) for the children in the school in order to organize intercultural programs for youths. Volunteers are very welcome to bring their talent and variety activities for camp.
Accomodation & food:
The dormitory in village1st week meals- Cooking by volunteers, 2nd week meals-provided.
Volunteers will participate in Buddhist camp and organize intercultural programs for youths staying at the temple. Cleaning and conservation of temple is one of the simple activity for temple stay.
Accomodation & food:
Traditional temple guest-house / only vegetarian food will be served.
Location & leisure:
Trekking Mt. Duta and swimming in the Mureung valley.
Requirements:
Have a respect to temple rules and should enjoy playing with youth.
