BWCA set up an ongoing project in order to build a Volunteer Training Centre (VTC), which will be used to involve local people in volunteer projects and activities for the benefit of their community. Volunteers will help with the construction of a reception and waiting shade structure at the VTC. Other work includes the construction of facilities for organic composting. Work will be 5-6 hours per day. There will be also excursions in local historical places and the opportunity to play games with local children.

Ujgram is a small village at Gabtali Upazila (Sub-district) under Bogra district situated just next and south of Gaibandha district in the North. 60 km from Bogra town and 290 km from the capital city Dhaka.

At Ujgram BWCA dormitory with electricity, modern tolilet and shower. No washing machine or bathtub, every thing to be done manually with pumped supply water.
Special requirements :
All volunteers will be received by BWCA members at the “Zia International Airport” in Dhaka. The volunteers who are traveling by road/train through India are requested to inform the arrival point to the BWCA by “Confirmation Slip”. After the orientation seminar in Dhaka (1st day of the program) all volunteers will be taken to the camp site. Work can be physically demanding.

They will also help the "Cost Free Eye Camp", which gives health care to poor people who suffer from cataract problems; volunteers will look after some of the patients by providing food and care work. Work will be 5-6 hours per day. There will be also excursions in local historical places and the opportunity to play games with local children.
