VAP’s Toolkit on the UN Millennium Development Goals
VAP organised a project in the summer of 2010 aimed at promoting the UN Millennium Development Goals through the creation of a toolkit. It was also the first time that we have hosted volunteers in our projects through the European Voluntary Service scheme. This toolkit aims to inspire people and generate new ideas and is free to be used by all.
This toolkit provides a set of activities that aim to create awareness of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. All the content is free to use, implement, reshape and adapt. We believe in sharing knowledge and building on each others’ ideas, as a way of developing our future.
The puzzle cards summarize the main insights on the Millennium Development Goals so that participants can learn about them in a practical way. The puzzle is solved by bringing the puzzle cards into a logical order that connects the right targets and descriptions to each of the eight Goals.
