City of Art and History whose abbey and cloister are listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, Moissac watches over its rich heritage from the Medieval Ages to the Modern era. This project wishes to offer the downtown residents a green escape in the heart of their living space. Accompanied by dynamic leaders, you will share working time together, but also many moments of intercultural exchange with the local population and the volunteers of the city.
Work:
In association with the locals, young and old, you will renovate a traditional wash house a few steps away from the abbey. You will participate in the security of the site, the creation of a path, laundry, and establishing a path between the wash house and Carmel, a place on the path to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.

Leisure activities:
Outside of the worksite, you will discover the remarkable heritage of this town, the abbey, and the canal. Walk along the path of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, on the banks of the Tarn, you can enjoy the water and the beauty of the old stones. Swimming, walks, and mingling with the other youths from the camp and Moissac will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in this fruit and wine region.
On this work camp, we will work on the basement of the cathedral of Noyon. We will replace the joints between the substructure stones of the cathedral's apse. Last fall, the first group had already begun to paint the door of the rood chamber and those giving access to the choir gallery.
