We will help to prepare the festival, such as site management, decoration and promotion to local kids through visiting the kindergarten and the nursery schools. We will also work during the festival (do funny activities and performance for kids, reception, carry the materials for drama and clean up etc ).

Koushi city in Kumamoto pref, a small town in the mountains, 20 km north of Kumamoto. Good access by bus from Kumamoto.
We will do various work to activate the area and success their culture. Main work is organizing and preparing for Kids English camp. From 10 to 18 year old children join and enjoy international days in the beautiful nature. And we possibly also support agriculture and do some other work for the community.

Renovated house (traditional house!). Simple shower room. Clean toilet. Sleeping bag is needed! Food will be cooked by volunteers. wi-fi and internet are nothing.

The southwest part of Ishikawa prefecture. Ozuchi village is surrounded by mountains, so very isolated, but beautiful place. Charcoal making was main industry.
Requirements:
High motivation to work hard and simple life in the isolated area and respect to the local culture and way of the local organization. Educational experience for kids is welcomed!
The volunteer will help local fisherman(oyster) and farmers(tea,apple,vegetable), people damaged by the tsunami such as reclaim, cutting grass and harvesting as well as organize some activities for the kids in kids centers and do anything else needed.And also NICE will have mini work camp for youth from disaster area in this workcamp . So volunteers can help them to have culture exchange program in that mini workcamp.

High motivation to work for disaster area and respect to the local culture and way of the local organization! Motivation letter is required. Not have any criminal or sexual or physical abuse record!Camp language is English, but knowledge in Japanese is welcome.
Volunteers will help to run the Summer School for the children by 1) assisting their programs to experience rural cultures, 3) run the English speaking classes and 3) organize inter-cultural exchange of play, music and dance of the world. The community expect that some of the children will love this place and move to live and study from the cities in the future!

Shinko district is located in the south west of Nagano city which is located in the noth east of Nagano prefecture. The climate is colder than low land, so even in summer, it may be cool in the evening and morning. Rice and apples farming is the main industry.

Volunteers will help to run this summer program by playing with kids, running cultural programs such as teaching your dance, songs, arts, sports, games, cooking, etc. and helping house works such as cleaning and cooking with professional staffs and other vols. You won't have much free time.

Requirements:
Volunteers should love kids and speak/understand some Japanese language. Responsibilities, group cooperativeness and high motivation are necessary! Volunteers have experienced the activity with children are welcome! Motivation letter is required.
Youth will get the opportunity to have a business experience in the camp. They will visit local business actually exist in Rikuzentakata. They will make a PR document in English and Japanese for the online sales. Volunteers will help out and live together with 40 Youth (15-18 years) in the camp supporting activities and sharing your business experience.
